Hampton Inn Oxford

I stayed here with some friends for one night. The room we ended up being placed in was right under the "breakfast" room. So it was very loud with the constant trash can being rolled through there, and foot traffic, and chairs moved around. Staff was friendly. We were placed directly across from the pool. Which we did use. It was a salt water pool. Very small, decent temp. The pool towels were a complete joke! It wasn't even big enough to cover up my shoulders let alone try and wrap around my body. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean. I was bummed there wasn't a table, or portable flat surface of some kind in the room, as we played some card and dice games. And didn't have a flat hard surface to use over near the beds. But not a minor complaint.

Our stay was great. Very clean and quiet. The staff were SO friendly. She gave us some ideas on where to eat. And she was amazing!! We would definitely stay here again and I definitely recommend!!

Positive: Quite Keith Negative: Yes we were double charged and bullied by front desk said if we didn't pay even though I had itenary and conformation number. Pool was closed. I recently had a brain tumor. Swimming is only activity I can do and pool was closed.

I've stayed in many Hampton Inns and similar properties while traveling for work. This is hands down the nicest Hampton Inn I've every stayed in within recent memory. I asked whether the property was newer & was pleasantly surprised (actually just really surprised) that it is nearly 10 years old. The property is exceptionally maintained. The common areas look great-- the lounge/morning breakfast area was very comfortable and looked to be something you'd see from a higher rung Hilton property. The gym was larger, had better/newer equipment and was in better condition than I could have ever imagined. The rooms were large enough and the room itself was well maintained. The bathroom was in great condition. I'm picky about tile that looks old, non pristine flooring, etc. To me, a nice

Our stay was great! I was dropping my child off at sleepaway camp and this is the closest hotel. We got a warm welcome when we checked in and the room was fresh and clean. The staff was helpful. The location was convenient to the camp and a 10 min drive to Walmart, McDonalds and Apple Bees. Not much else around. Breakfast was great! There were plenty of options and lots of seating. We used the wifi and free parking. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.
