Hampton Inn Midland South

Clean, convenience, friendly and helpful staff. I really appreciate getting a real breakfast these days with eggs and sausage and potatoes. That’s becoming rare. And as an electric car driver, being able to charge up overnight makes all the difference. Thank you all!

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times when I’m in town visiting family. This is my preferred hotel for the location, friendly staff and a very convenient breakfast/coffee area. Sadly, this past stay was not quite pleasant. There is definitely new staff/employees and they were not so pleasant. Before I could exit the elevator, I could hear the very loud conversation from the breakfast area. I assumed it was a big family but nope. It was staff sitting near the breakfast area being extremely loud and obnoxious. This made my morning breakfast a very unpleasant one. I figured everyone was just excited because of the weather and snow so no big deal. But the next day, the same thing. I’m sure there is a staff break room these employees can gather and get together to be as loud as they would li

The hotel is very good. The room was great and the bed wonderful. Easy to get to from I-20. The breakfast is not up to that standard, though. The cooked food was disgusting, the waffle mix too thin to use and the coffee lukewarm. You must do better with the breakfast.

Stayed at this hampton inn and enjoyed my room but had a negative experience with the general manager. When asked about the cancelation of my room she sounded like she was troubled to help me with my situation. Unfortunately I will not consider to stay at this specifc hotel in the near future. I would rather stay at an IHG next time.

The check-in process was slow and we were the only ones at the front desk. The room was nice, but did not like the barn door on the bath. The breakfast was not as good as other Hampton Inns, but sufficed.
