Great location for where we need. The rooms are a hodgepodge of posters and cheap mirrors which is fine. However, when you need to work there's not enough light because there's no desk lamp or overhead light if you need to see beyond just the minimal nightstand bed lamp. Toilet paper is possibly the cheapest toilet paper ever. And unfortunately along with tired rooms, a broken elevator, well worn bright orange carpet in the hallway the fitness center was barely functioning. That being said, the night attendant was intelligent, communicative and cheerful.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Dadeland, FL, and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for getting around the area. The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable, and everything felt fresh and organized. I especially want to recognize Herman for his outstanding service. He was professional, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of during our stay. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about guest satisfaction, and Herman made a big difference.

Positive: The staff was courteous and friendly. We've had good experience with Hilton hotels and due to the fact we were traveling for a funeral and 1 night stay this seemed affordable and convenient (1 adult, 9yr old, 14 yr old, 15 year old.) Negative: The rooms smelled like mildew or humid. The bathroom floors were dusty as if not mopped or swept properly. The location of the hotel did not make is as accessible as anticipated.

My experience with the Hampton Inn Miami Dadeland was an absolute disaster and a prime example of a hotel prioritizing rigid policy over basic human courtesy and customer retention. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking.We originally booked a stay for October 25th–27th back in April. Unfortunately, due to a last-minute flight cancellation, our travel plans shifted to Orlando, making the Miami reservation obsolete—three months before the date. While I understood that the booking was technically non-refundable, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility, even with ample notice.The true problem, however, lies in their shocking customer service. Desperate not to waste the money, we found a friend who was willing to take over the non-refundable reservation.

Location is great, but unfortunately that’s about where it ends… $300 for one night for a smelly and humid room that had no running water. They sent the maintenance man up to “fix it,” it worked for an hour, and then we were left for the rest of the night again with no water. Had to call again in the morning to get it “fixed” again so that we could bathe. Still, barely worked. Just a slow trickle of scalding hot water coming out. Absolutely disappointed. Could have just offered me a different room, but nope. Room 417...
