Hampton Inn Massillon

On the positive side, the hotel is renovated and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was also relatively quiet and the staff was friendly. ||Unfortunately, there was hair all over the shower and bathroom floor, and it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned. Additionally, the layout is quirky, with the hotel sitting on top of an above-ground parking garage. The lobby entrance is on the top floor of the parking garage. When it snows, they close the top portion of the garage, forcing you to park on the lower levels. During a recent stay, only one elevator was working, resulting in a 15+ minute wait each time I needed to use the elevator. ||Overall, not a bad experience and worth it for a quick stay.

Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and they actually left the food out until the time they said breakfast ended rather than packing it up 10 minutes early. The breakfast staff was even kind enough to ask us if we wanted anything else before they started putting the food away. The complimentary day passes to the Massillon Rec Center were great, also. It was a very short drive or walk away, and the aquatic center, gym, and exercise room there were a nice amenity.

Great hotel overall but the Internet was awful at 2.5mbps down. Don't bother upgrading to their premium plan it's a scam you'll still get the same speeds. Other than the Internet my only complaint would be that the elevator that services the entire hotel is not heated and is connected to the outside which was not great during the winter.

This hotel was very confusing upon arrival. There's almost zero signs. If you drive a large vehicle, they own the old bus stop on ground level. The 1st floor, starts on the 4th floor. Once your inside, place is great. Clean and comfy beds and rooms, decent gym, breakfast was great, a/c with a remains on function. Lovely place

I got a GUN pulled on me by a tenant staying on the next room to me !! With my 4 year old daughter in the room with me And I wanted to leave and didn’t get NO REFUND no pool no amenities!! After he forcefully banged on my room wall Twice !!! Before I knocked on the door
