Hampton Inn Long Island/Islandia

I’ve been here before. It’s always been nice. I went to the commack location in the same week and that location was sooo much better. This location had dog poop around the grounds and that was not appealing at all. And they have dog park area. I was extremely surprised to see how much it has changed in just 6 months. The food, no good. It’s the same folded egg patties and sausage, links or patties. Some of the towels had stains on it.the carpet in my room had a big stain on it. I will not stay here again.

Stayed here 2 nights on 12/31 & 1/1. Very convenient location right off the LIE & near Jake’s 58 Casino. There’s also several stores nearby including a Walmart & 7-11 in walking distance. The hotel itself was very clean & quiet despite how busy it was for New Years. And despite being on a busy road we couldn’t hear anything from outside which is good. The breakfast buffett in the morning was very good with a bunch of different options. Room had a fridge , microwave, & coffee maker. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area or going to the casino nearby. Very high quality at a very fair price.

Positive: Breakfast and size of the accessible room were the best. Negative: My room was on the first floor. I could smell cigarettes and weed from those smoking right in front of the hotel in my room. Also the bed was extremely low and too soft til I could and did fall off of while transfering to my wheelchair.

Check in was incredibly smooth and the front desk agents were very informative. The room itself was incredibly clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and filling. I would absolutely stay here again!

Property is right off the highway. If you turn right out of the property you need to make 2 U turns to get back. I needed to wash clothing and they did not have any laundry machines. Room itself was nice. Comfy and fancy computer chair, WiFi was about 8 up 6 down, shower had good pressure, nice hot water, bed and pillows very comfy, mini fridge got so cold it froze my drinks. No noise issues. I did see they had an indoor pool. Plenty of working plugs for your electronics. HVAC worked well.
