Hampton Inn Easley

We stayed here over the Christmas holiday and paid $158 per night. Overall, the experience was disappointing.||On the morning of our arrival, I called to ask about checking in 20 minutes early and was told it was OK, but there would be a $25 fee, which we passed on. When we arrived just a few minutes before the official check-in time, there was no one at the front desk. We had used Hilton digital check-in, so we just went straight to our room.||The night before arrival, we had completed Hilton pre-check-in and selected a room, but the room was changed without explanation prior to check-in.||The hotel was under renovation, and the first-floor lobby and breakfast area were essentially nonexistent. Very easy to find, check in was excellent the ladies at front desk were very kind and professional. Our room was clean and well maintained, very spacious for 2 person king. There was a lounge chair and desk and chair. Plenty of room in closet for clothes and drawer space. Multiple USB and type C chargers, Big mirrors and large bathroom, shower was clean bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great food was hot and clean we slept so well we didn't make it to breakfast till 9 but it was still hot and full. Monday we enjoyed biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and waffles fresh fruit everything was amazing. We decided to extend our stay and Chance at front desk helped us and made the arrangements we needed. Only thing that would have been better would have been a hot tub but the pool was clean

I have been here a little over a week into a 2 month business trip. Before I come here I read the reviews about the mold and about the rude employees. I have to say I haven't had a bad experience at all. The mold in the shower is really just the caulking that's because nothing is made like it used to be. My caulking at home molds even though it clearly says waterproof and mold resistant. So I feel as though they do everything they can within control for upkeep. I will say as well I have not had one rude employee. The guy with the noise ring and hair is the absolute best person you could ever talk to. He is so respectful and polite. Our room and the bathroom had great big space to put our belongings down in. We're usually squeezing in between the bed and the dresser in a similarly priced accommodation. We had plenty of towels, and they provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. (They weren't in those ridiculously small little bottles either.) The carpet could have been vacuumed better. But there was no human musky scent on the linens, nor did it smell antiseptic. We were able to obtain a pet friendly room so we could have our little West Highland Terrier with us. We don't go otherwise. I thought this was a great stay for 2 nights.

Very friendly staff. Super convenient hotel close to many restaurants. Clean and spa is our rooms. Quiet. You can walk to Outback or Golden Corral. Free hot breakfast. Had eggs and sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, fruit, waffles, toast, English muffin, muffins and bagels. Juice and coffee and water. My only complaint was they ran out of cream cheese and regular butter.
