Hampton Inn Detroit/Utica-Shelby Township

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn for an extended two-month stay, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From day one, the hotel and our room were consistently clean and comfortable, and the staff was nothing short of amazing... always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast each morning was great with plenty of options. The hot cocoa bar and afternoon cookies were such a thoughtful touch and something we looked forward to! We were there over the holidays, and even though we weren’t at home, the warmth and kindness of the staff made it feel special. Positive: "" Negative: We come to Michigan every October and stay at this hotel and rent 2 rooms so our family can be together in the pool and hot tub. Not only was the hot tub closed, but the pool was too cold for the kids to swim. M&M that cost $1.49 were $5.

Spent 2 nights here for a work trip. Location was easy in and out and quiet. Hotel has been remodeled. Nice and clean, friendly staff, everything worked. I had a 2 queen studio room on the 3rd floor next to the stairs. I heard no door noise or feet above me. Lots of space in this room to actually sit on a couch and move around. Bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again for a work trip.

OMG, the best hotel this year for me! The service, out of this World. Me and my partner both are doing a 30 hours Surveillance Patrol Security Guarding the Walmart Supercenter next door! With all the Stores and gas stations closed today on Christmas morning, we had no place to eat. This hotel welcomed us to come in and have a wonderful breakfast on Christmas Day! Thank you so much Hampton Inn.

I don't leave reviews but had to... so I check in with my 3 sons (under 16) and we get to the room, enter and realize there is someone in the bathroom and the room showed being used. I apologize to the guy go downstairs explain and the girl says nobody is supposed to be in there and gives me another room. So we get settled go swimming, use the weight room order pizza and rent a movie. It's 11 pm we settle in to watch our movie and turn the volume up and up and up till it's full blast. If you crinkled a paper you couldn't hear it. So at midnight I go down explain it and the very helpful guy at the desk gets us another room. I guess I'm writing this because we don't stay at broke down hotels and at $200 + a night 5 miles from home turned into a headache. I'll end with breakfast was good 👍
