Hampton Inn Colchester

I attended an event here. My check in was fast, easy and I had a couple of questions and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. My room was nice, bright and clean. The place was nice and quiet which I thought was a plus. In the morning, the breakfast was better than average I thought and the selection was pretty good. I will absolutely stay here again.

Spent Two Nights here visiting the area the hotel is large big lobby and breakfast area which was busy both mornings . Staff was friendly lobby is on the 3rd floor 2nd floor had the pool . Our room was the top floor nice king size bed a different lay out which a large peaked window fridge and nice chair to sit . Bathroom was nice as well quiet even though hotel was busy slow elevators was a little annoying but otherwise a great stay would recommend and good value

I asked for a 3:00 p.m. check out when I booked the room and paid about 50% more booking through Hilton directly to get this. I was told late check outs were based upon availability and availability looked good, so I booked it. The guy at the front desk said there was no mention of a 3:00 p.m. check out, but it probably shouldn't be a problem given that about 60% of the rooms were available. He could only approve 2pm and to check in the morning. I went down in the morning and the two women at the front desk absolutely refused the 3:00 p.m. check out because I was not diamond status regardless of what corporate told me upon booking. They could have at least said they would ask a supervisor when they came in and let me know. I called corporate where I booked the room and they wouldn't do any

I'm from VT originally and stayed here NOV 2025 while I was in town for a memorial service. Fifth floor room was AWESOME. Loved the vaulted ceiling - didn't feel like a hotel. Bed was comfy. Staff was super nice. Lobby was inviting and the coffee was always ready. Would totally stay here again.

Positive: I loved how I was greeted by staff at the front desk: Very pleasant and engaging. Gave me information on the hotel. My room was excellent , very clean no funny odor. I also never use hotel soap , however I tried Zero and loved it. Negative: I did not the lady who I guess assist with the food in the morning. She spoke to everyone except for me. She asked other people how was the food. However , she did not ask me. Maybe she didn?t like my face.
