If you want to get away from it all and get your mind right than this is the place to go. Halsteds Hideaway is a gem out in the country where you wouldn’t expect a nice campground to be. Full hookup/sewer , laundry, shower house, rec room pool table with an addition coming soon, a large enough place to have tournaments for corn hole among other games in doors, safe from the elements with air conditioning. Need firewood or ice he has that as well. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a good experience and also has fishing tournaments and other events throughout the year for all to enjoy especially the kids. Love this place and the most important for me is a good clear night for star gazing.

Beautiful campground, always a great experience every year we come down. Nice and relaxing time away from home with all the accommodations and more! I promise you won't regret camping at Halsted's Hideaway.

We spent our weekend lodging here while venturing to the flea market during the day. This is a nice getaway for all ages. It has all the basics needed for camping: shower, bathroom, wood, ice, and security. Hooks up for all. The campground is kept neatly, beautiful pond for fishing, and much more when warmer months come.
