Hacienda de Léal Hotel and Event Venue

This is a cute hotel surrounded by olive trees. We stayed here to be close to Pinnacles National Park which is about 50 minutes away. I’ll start with the good - check-in was easy and receptionist was lovely. Rooms were clean and bathroom was modern with a walk-in shower. We liked how spacious the room was and appreciated that the fridge was cold and there was a microwave. Unfortunately, several things made the hotel unpleasant. There were several loud startling bang noises that woke us up the in the middle of the night. Walls were also very thin and our inconsiderate neighbor wouldn’t stop talking until 3AM. We knocked on the wall and they lowered their voices for 2 minutes before getting loud again. You could hear even with earplugs and pillows covering your ears :( this led to a terrib

What a transformation!|I lived in the area 10+ years ago, and visited the site that time. It was adequate, but clearly a motor inn past its prime ... which we thought a shame, because it's spacious and in a wonderfully peaceful location. Finally made it back, and WOW! They've made all the right decisions. It's unlike any other hotel of its grade, in the best possible way. So glad this has happened in sleepy little San Juan Bautists!|The atmosphere now is very much in keeping with the town-that-time-forgot feel of SJB. From the bell-shaped corridor lighting (nice nod to the El Camino Real location) to mission-style furniture and serape throw pillows, the entire presentation is well thought out. We stayed here for one night (Christmas Eve). The staff was very friendly for our late check-in. The room was very spacious. Parking is very easy and it's just so magical with all the twinkle lights.||The room was a bit cold. It was quiet and clean.

Loved the atmosphere of this hotel. The clerk that checked us in on Saturday night was super friendly. She walked me to the courtyard to show me the building my room was in, talked about lighting up the trees and suggested food for the night. We walked across the street to the pizza place she suggested (meh) and came back to a hotel lit up with olive trees...it was quite dazzling. Rooms were spacious, great wooden furniture and the most comfortable pillows I've ever laid in. Really a fantastic hotel. Free breakfast in the morning. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, bagels, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, juice. Eggs and potatoes were very good. Will definitely stay again.
