Gun Lake Motel

I just payed a friend a visit. It was friendly by everyone you met. Not much for small children, or kids in general but a clean place and surrounded by things to do away from there. The cartaker was very friendly and helpful. My friend had someone throw a brick through their window and she allowed them time to fix it.

It is quiet and peaceful here. The rooms are old fashioned but clean. You have a private entrance and there is an awning, so if you are a smoker (smoking outside only) you will be protected from the elements. They have cable TV but no WiFi but you can sign into your own wifi if you have service. It is close to the casino, grocery store, gas station, and 131. They are very affordable and reasonable. This is a good place for one night or more when on a tight budget but looking for peace and cleanliness. I recommend this place to anyone down to earth and on a budget.

We stayed there for almost a yr barely hot water the manger was hardly there they have a plumber thinks it ok to threaten to bash dogs in the head and choke me I would stay away from this place plus we paid cash to the manger tell u she will give u a receipt and never dose they says u owe money u already paid

Made reservations 2 months in advance for July 4th for 3 nights for a wedding I was attending at gun lake. I was quoted a price over the phone for $140.00 an also said I would be in room 107. They do not send you an email or even a confirmation number. I called 2 nights before July 4th to confirm again and was quoted same price. When I got there the man at the counter told me it was $189.00 and it is first come first serve on the room. I asked to speak to the manager - which was the mother - who was very rude to us and said there was no way I was given that quote - basically that I was lying. This went on for a few minutes and then I asked to have the owner's name so I could write a letter of complaint. Which of course she would not give me. My husband and I had to stay there sinc
