Guesthouse Lost River

Another magical weekend at the Guesthouse. Our second visit and we will be back for sure. The rooms are lovely, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. You're greeted warmly by the hosts, shown to your room, dinner reservations booked and you're on your way! The pool and the pool bar felt like being at a good friend's pool party. People are friendly, service is gracious, and there's zero attitude. Meals are delicious and Saturday night at the bar was fun. We hated to leave!

Guest House – Absolutely Fantastic! Guest House is an absolute gem! The steaks are perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the cocktails are top-notch — you can tell the bartenders take real pride in their craft. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with stunning views that make the whole experience even better. Whether you’re here for dinner, drinks, or staying overnight in one of their beautiful rooms, everything is first-class. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, delicious, and memorable getaway!

I have never stayed at the Guesthouse, but I have eaten there countless times and every single time has been amazing. Gary and Jesse have built an amazing spot for a date, a family gathering, or just about any other special occasion. The menu routinely changes while keeping a few fan favorites (the duck wontons are the best) and from the food to the beer and wine, they source their ingredients as locally as possible. I can't recommend The Guesthouse enough for a good meal. It is the best food in Hardy County.

My husband and I loved our stay and had a fabulous experience. I cannot not recommend this place enough. The owners and staff are very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Upon arrival, one of the owners gave us a tour. Everything is pristine. This is the perfect place for a getaway in the mountains. We hope to be back one day soon!

Guesthouse's all to offer is everything! The restaurant, in particular, was delicious: the ambiance, the cocktails, the apps and dinner, and the service. This place is one of our favorites when we visit the area. A gem in the woods, for sure!
