Grundy County Lake Campground

Whoever the guys the take care of this park and the lake have been doing a great job. Same with the roadside park towards stout. I appriecate that theyve been planting new trees and making new trails that dont disrupt the wildlife or plants

So happy we found this campground! It's exceptionally clean and has all the amenities, along with a beautiful walk to the lake. We will definitely come stay again!

The campground entrance is several hundred ft past the park entrance. Down a gravel road a quarter mile to a paved road to the right. 61 sites some back-ins some pull throughs all well spaced shared water spigots. 10, 30, 50 amp at each site. I read on a previous review that there were only two restrooms, there are 6. Three on the front of the building and three on the rear. These are all family style, shower, vanity, commode all with ample room. The three in the front were open though the one on the right did not have a sign on the door. Of the three on the back the two to the left were open but the one to the left marked handicap was locked. I don't know why because I could tell it was a dead bolt located much higher than handicap would allow. As such I assume it was out of order. Our s

This is a modern campground that's nice and has a mix of back-in and pull-through sites. Rates in '21 were an affordable $15/night for water & electric hookups. The bath/shower house were clean and appear to be well cared for. This is a "newer" campground so the trees are still young and don't provide much shade.

This park has beautiful views and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone has been respectful and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by this park. :)
