Such a cute, historical hotel. We were in room 1 which was up at the top of the stairs near check in. They still use actual keys which added to the quaintness of the hotel. The rooms were nicely remodeled and refreshed. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was a “minibar” in the room which was also nice. I just wish their restaurant or at least the bar was open but not a huge deal- we walked down the street for some good Mexican food and to the old bar. I’d recommend this hotel to stay when visiting Yosemite.

We stayed for 5 nights. It was very cool looking, and everyone was very friendly that worked there. They made sure we had plenty of water, toilet paper, towels and anything else we needed. The restaurant was amazing. We ate there two nights and got the same meals both nights it was so good. The homemade ice cream dessert is incredible! Loved the little town too. The Iron Door Saloon next door was pretty cool, we ate there one night too. They also had really good food.

The hotel is over 100 years old, no elevator, no TV, dead bolt locks on all doors, small rooms and bathrooms. Very poor breakfast - dry toast (no jam), Cheerios or instant oats (no fruit), and a hard boiled egg. Great check-in clerk

We stayed here for 2 nights on a week-long trip to Yosemite. I was pretty excited about it because I love historic buildings and I was not disappointed. We stayed in room 5, which was the Grand Suite and we really enjoyed our entire visit. The room was spacious and clean, there was a sitting room with a television and then the bedroom. Furkan at the hotel helped me with a late check-in and we were easily able to find our keys and our room with his instructions. ||I haven't read a lot of the other reviews but I think it's important to remember when staying here that you are staying in a historic building. Yes, it's been well-maintained but it's still old. If you're looking for a resort with all the amenities this may not be for you, but if you love historical buildings and cute, well-mainta

I like this hotel very much except for For one thing, My boyfriend and I are a biracial couple. There were two staff that were very rude to him and I both. One was a thin white middle aged man with blonde hair who stared me down to the point of discomfort when we were going to our room one night. The second night it was a young white girl with blonde hair who acted like my boyfriend was going to attack her and I'm not exaggerating on either front. However, the rest of the staff was very nice. The town apparently only has two Black people so for anyone traveling of color I think that that is an important message.
