Stayed here during the summer of 2023 (post 2020 North Complex Fire) and had a blast with some friends. Although the site is right on the road, there are very few cars and only during the day so this wasn't an issue. No trash bins so had to drive the trash a mile to another campsite, and no running water but there is a solid creek on site that was great for washing hands, cleaning pots/pans, and getting water to boil (real primative style). Definitely a great cheap campsite and the perfect location for a last-minute reservation as it rarely gets reserved, even during the summer. I go camping with my friends 2-3 times per year and this is still by far our favorite trip. Would definitely reccomend!
