Grey's Point Camp

Mostly seasonal park models, privately owned but also had rental cabins. Pull thru site was level, long enough for our 33 ft 5th wheel and truck. Sites were tight but we only had one camper next to us for two days. Very nice dog park. Lots of good restaurants near by and there were 2 food trucks on the weekend. The Pilot House restaurant has a great breakfast buffet and can highly recommend Small Town Burgers.

We are semipermanent and we love this place. But the past few months things have changed. They are nitpicking at everything. Little bits of weeds on people’s lots that actually take care of there places. But then empty lots have tall grass. A good example is on Placid Harbor there is one camper that has junk piled up in the windows and weeds up to your knees all around the camper. Another on that street has a golf cart that has sat all summer with a flat tire. If you ride down some of the streets places are overgrown and unsightly. But yet they pick on the ones that try to take care of their lots. They even picked on a lady that had campsite of the month this summer about some weeds. Now today a new couple was trying to skirt their camper and Amanda told them no power tools on the weekend?

When we arrived it seemed like a really nice campground. Unfortunately we had about three campers across from us that were a little loud with the music . But nothing prepared us for the next night the campground hired a band that played 50 feet from our back windows of our camper . Our camper windows were vibrating. There horrible answer was we can move you did I spend a hundred dollars a night to pick and move my camper a second time at six o'clock at night.

I have a seasonal site at Grey’s Point. The people in the office are awesome. They always go the extra mile to make sure any of your problems are solved. Been staying there for the last 10 years thank you.

We have an annual lease for a permanent spot at this campground, which is quite expensive for the limited amenities it offers. While the pool (there are 2 but they’re both small) and bands are a good attraction, they can’t be the sole reason for annual leaseholders to choose this place. They do offer activities but there’s no polish to any of them. They just seem haphazardly pulled together. We need something more.||||Trip Advisor forces me to select a month, but we’ve actually held a lease for a few years now. We own our own camper (which in and of itself, we enjoy). The campground has a 20-year rule that means once the camper reaches 20 years old, it can’t be sold within the campground.
