Greyfield Inn

Our extended family of 14 stayed together in the cottages to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary. We were blown away by the experience. The staff were all so warm and kind. Our cottages were beyond comfortable. The food was SO good at every meal. The plethora of snacks and drinks available throughout the day were beyond what we could have imagined. Being able to take tours, borrow kayaks and fishing supplies easily, borrow a bike, roam the beautiful area.... It was all so easy to do. Just sitting on the porch of the Inn was wonderful. We are so grateful for the inn, for making the experience so special and for never making us feel like a burden (because we were such a big group).

A stay at Greyfield Inn is an absolutely incredible way to explore Cumberland Island. The overarching theme of this is a place that is absolutely stuffed full of charm and wonderful sights to explore. Every aspect of your experience is treated with the utmost care. From the lovely staff who feel like friends by the time you leave and the wonderful chats with other guests to the amazing food and epic excursions it really is an adventure like no other! I had such a wonderful time taking in the details and meeting awesome new people. It really is such a rewarding experience.

This place is an amazing hotel to totally unplug. It is simple, yet elegant. The staff were amazing and the food was so good. There is no wifi, so it was nice to be forced to unplug for a few days. I loved the history of the island and the Hotel. If you are looking for a place to be pampered, this isn’t it. But if you want laid back and adventurous, with simple yet fantastic food, Greyfield is for you! The perfect place to unwind!

My wife and I booked a 2 night stay for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The experience is beyond what the best possible review could ever describe. The staff, stay, and hospitality was "out of this world." The island is filled with natural beauty and is rich in history. We highly encourage you to consider this place if you are looking for a perfect escape from reality surrounded by God's creation.

This was a semi bucket list item. We've camped many times on Cumberland Island and always wanted to stay at Greyfield. It's 100 year old house... The attic, 3rd, and 1st floor have AC. We lost power today. The generator powered T cabins and all but the Attic rooms. If the power goes out they have to run drop chords to power floors 3 and 4 but there will be no AC until power is restored. The food is good but alcohol is expensive. The staff is great.
