Gretna Motel

This place was awful. The room stank, bugs in the room, they hadn't paid the cable bill/TV subscription so the TV didn't work, the rooms and bedding are severely outdated & need renovation.

For the money, I was good with what I got. TV has lots of channels, bed was OK. Didn't see any bugs or mold. Old cigarette smell in the room and 70s furniture. Bathroom was clean, shower was hot, and free wifi worked. It had a mini fridge and microwave. I'm glad I got a room on the end, because the Indian family running it from the middle was stinking up the office with something they were cooking. Couldn't smell it all the way to the end room that I got. Diner across the street had good breakfast bar. Since I didn't want to fork over $130 for Hampton Inn, this place was just fine for me without the wife at under $50. Would not take her there, but would stay there alone again.

This little motel was better than I expected. I would rate it better than Super8 or Redroof Inn. NOT very large, but more than worth the low cost. Cons-very plain no curve appeal. I think one or two large seasonal plant in pots (maybe small shrubs🌳) in front and in the rear would help with presentation. During the spring & summer a pop of color (flowers). Just a suggestion. Service was wonderful. Nice little motel.

This is the nicest little place I have seen!! Everything worked and it smelled good. I asked the manager if it was safe there and he said yes, but gave me his cell phone number. I asked what time was check out and he said what time do you want to check out, 😊 I said 11:00, he said okay. The place was so clean everywhere!! Thanks y'all 💚

Arrived a week ahead for our reservation and spent the night. It was a usual old school bring your own sheets,clean everything first,etc. Motel. We had fun and had our dog. When we showed for our reservation the following week, the lady who was just as brown as me came to our car just yelling etc not letting us talk as we mentioned we had a reservation. So we gave to charity and drove off to more suitable conditions where we could leave our bags inside. Moral of this story This may have been a relative Ancestry bought me there that would be about right how family is towards each other these days😂
