Green Tree Inn

This should have been a more pleasant stay but unfortunately it wasn't. I saw that this hotel was rated two and a half stars when I booked it and now I understand why. The room itself looked fine except for a few things. I went downstairs to notify the front desk that my vanity light would not come on. They told me that they would have someone from maintenance come up when they arrived to the hotel for work. They never arrived. Beyond that, the toilet had to be held down by the handle. In order for it to flush, there was no conditioner in the conditioning bottle in the bathroom and I'm pretty sure the hotel knows of these things before their guests arrive. It's kind of a shame because I had higher hopes for a hotel that claims to have been renovated. I was given no explanation as to why

Great staff! You can tell they are working on the remodel but nothing felt “messy” or in the way. I’m thankful they are able to remain open while renovating. Stayed during the epic snow storm and the place was super accommodating. The lady working the front desk was outstanding given everything going on. But I’m glad she got cut when she did so she could make it home. Will definitely stay here again.

This was nice place to stay. Awesome king size bed. So comfortable and inviting. Large room but mini fridge was broken and smelled. The bathroom was small and sort of awkward to get into. Indoor pool was closed for renovation and no complementary breakfast even though website said there was one. Still good price all and all.

Online it says pool and breakfast. No pool or breakfast. The front dest attendant entered my room before the scheduled checkout time. Most of the other tenants are there on government vouchers. They only cleaned up when there was a mandatory government inspection going through

Hotel is advertised as freshly remodeled but I had a broken bathroom door in my room. The bathroom floor also moves when you step on it. Front desk person frequently goes missing and can not be reached for long stretches at a time. Guest laundry room has no waste basket so it is filthy with lint and dryer sheets. On par or worse than motel 6..but at least at motel 6 they have a person working the front desk.
