Customer Reviews
My partner and I stayed at Green Trails Inn for one night before skiing at Sugarbush, and we had a delightful experience. The inn is beautifully renovated, very clean, and cozy. Our room (one of the two that share a bathroom) was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Dinner at the attached pub was fantastic—great drinks, great service, and the chicken pot pie is a must! We also enjoyed the cookies and fruit available at night, and we were sad we had to leave before breakfast. Everyone we met was so kind and helpful. The only small note is that, as an older building, the walls are thin, so light sleepers may want earplugs. We'd absolutely stay here again!
Stayed at this super cute, quaint, and cozy inn for 3 nights! I loved how they renovated everything so that it’s modernized (eg plumbing) but still maintained the historic charm! Vibes were immaculate, rooms were super comfortable (comfortable bed & pillows), and the inn keepers were so sweet and wonderful! We had fresh baked goods & coffee in the morning w/eggs and bacon The restaurant/pub attached to the inn also had really good food! At dinner time, it was filled with locals and quite bustling!! Overall a 10/10 stay and would recommend anyone looking for a cozy & quaint Vermont experience!!!
My wife and I had to abandon I-89 en route to Montreal due to heavy snow. What began as a disaster ended in joy! This inn is just perfect. The owners could not have been more hospitable. They’ve done a wonderful job renovating an old New England inn. It has modern amenities like floorboard heating and superb showers but retains that unmistakable old New England charm. The pub was also a delight. The french fries were perfect, the pork chop was succulent, and the Bordeaux was $5! You must book a stay and don’t wait until you’re imperiled in a blizzard.
If you’re looking for a quiet, welcoming getaway — away from the bustle, where you can enjoy natural beauty and small-town charm — this B&B in Brookfield is a gem. The combination of clean, cozy lodging, warm hospitality, and a town rich in character and scenic spots made for a wonderful stay. The pub attached had excellent food. I loved the chicken buffalo dip and fresh breads. The owners were kind and prompt with questions I had. I would happily stay there again, and I highly recommend it to others seeking a peaceful Vermont escape
This is the cutest, coziest little inn. The rooms are adorable and super comfortable. The restaurant and pub are magical! Excellent food and feels. Josh and Andrew are beyond accommodating—super hosts! The inn has such history and is in such capable hands. Highly recommend staying here!!
