Green Mountain Inn

If you are from the local area and stay here, you pay a 100 deposit because I was told by the office. local people are more likely to let homeless people stay here or take items from the room. Very offensive.

The motel on the outside looked like it could use a little TLC. On the walkway there was torn carpet, where someone could trip. Most of the rooms seemed to be non-smoking rooms, but they had little baskets filled with sand every so far and they were filled with cigarette butts. Pretty nasty looking.When we first went into our room there was no remote, so we called and the manager sent a guy that brought us his personal remote from his room. That was nice but it had no battery cover, so the batteries fell out which deprogrammed the remote. We took it to the manager, he reprogrammed it and he put tape over them, real classy. The room seemed clean until I took a shower and the curtain had mildew up and down it. I also noticed cobwebs on one of the lights. On the second day when we returned to

We had reservations for three days that turned into three days of hotel hell. First, there is no breakfast as advertised. The owner stated that is how they keep the price affordable. Secondly, the room wasn't set up for four people, and we didn't have enough towels. We left early the next morning and came back late afternoon to find that there was no room cleaning or towels exchanged. I went to the office to talk to the manager, and the office was closed. I called the number on the door and got an answering machine. No one bothered to return my call. The next morning I returned to the office again to find that it was still closed and the hotel emergency number had been removed from the door. I have stayed here for years. The couple that owns the property are very nice and easy to work with. Best of all, they allow dogs. Worst of all, they allow pets and have not changed out the carpet since I started staying there. The smell of ammonia has become intolerable. The carpet is is horrid condition, it not only reeks of pet urine, but is has pulled away from the walls and is tattered. You pay a small pet fee, but I have no idea what they are doing with it unless it's pouring more ammonia on the carpet. I can't do it any more.

Very clean rooms awesome extended loving spot very cheap price weekly or monthly. Very nice sized pool area as well as awesome management. They stride for excellence on their property and don't put up no crap from anyone. Very awesome people and place.
