Green Acre Motel by OYO Near Rush County Airport

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We were passing through and HAD to come here because it’s the only hotel in town. We arrived and the smell is absolutely horrible literally everywhere it’s dirty and the hotel staff was just as bad. We checked in and stated on the paper work we have a service animal and everything was fine until we left and came back. We came back and the “maintenance man” then denied us access back into our room and started asking us questions about our service animal and then stated that our reason for a service animal was not valid even after we provided all the paperwork. After we asked for a refund because they wanted to charge us for our service animal we then had to CALL THE COPS because the manager and her fiance (the maintenance man) started to ge

The entrance locks on the doors at one time used a card reader to unlock, this system was no longer functioning. To unlock the door a modified key was employed, but I always needed assistance to open the door. Once in the room I was unable to get the TV to work properly, it would turn on with the DirectTV and Roku remotes but was never able to get any programing. Even the manger was unable to get the system to work and stated the Wifi must be out. |When it was time for me to take my medication I discovered there were no drinking cups in the room. I went to the office and was given an open glass that was not sanitized. |The plumbing was the main problem the sink would drain but very slowly, it didn't need a stopper or have one and would take minutes to drain once full. I never leave a review but i will for this one, we live on the road, different hotel every single night, i never ever seen a worse place to stay, worst management,the fromt desk reaks and smells like old cat litter, filth, bugs, and discrimination, i had to call the cops just to get partial refund! Only got 32 bucks from my 76 dollars and i didn't even stay on the room! Its the only hotel around but u better off sleeping in your car or go to the next town, absolutely horrible and one star is too much for this place

5 stars plus best hospitality I've ever had at any motel & hotel, check-in went incredibly easy no troubles with my reservation. Beth & Denise we're extremely welcoming. Past reviews are due for an update book'em !

Rooms are infested with roaches, bedbugs, mice, and stench. Since leaving green acres, my lungs have been sick and burning. I do not recommend this hotel. Infact, all oyo motels are poorly run and very unsanitary and unsafe. Housekeeping does the bare minimum. Often times not even changing the sheets. See oyo, run!
