Great View Cabins

Cabins were clean and cozy.We were to Erie County Fair and Allegiany State Park will come again😃😃

We might be a little biased on this review, as this was our first "destination" my now husband and I went to get away for the weekend. I am not sure what attracted us the most to come and stay here 4 times, and we have already scheduled our 5th return. The cabin is perfect, it has a kitchenette with necessities to cook inside and bake in the winter and supplement grilling in the summer. The beds are comfortable and everything was super clean. The most impressive feature to us is the front porch, the old style rocking chairs and the amazing view of the mountains. It is the perfect destination to forget reality, and enjoy the simplicity of the outdoors. We call her "Our Cabin Lady", as the owner has been super accommodating and easy to make arrangements. We just returned from our second stay in these cabins. Our experience was really nice. The cabin was clean and accommodating. And as the name suggests the view was great! This was perfect for a couple or small family that just wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. The owners were very pleasant and easy to contact. We will definitely be returning soon. ||My only suggestion would be to install a screen door so that you can enjoy the fresh air without worrying about bugs.

We were looking for a relaxing long weekend destination and Great View Cabins were exactly what we needed. The cabin was so cute, extremely clean, and had all the necessary amenities. We had a blast relaxing on the porch, grilling, and enjoying s'mores around the bonfire gazing at the stars. It is secluded but close enough to town to get firewood, etc. We will definitely be coming back here in the winter. If you come here when it's warm, don't forget your bug spray!

We just returned from a two night stay at Great View Cabins. It was exactly as we expected, rustic but very pleasant. We stayed in cabin 1 which offered a lovely view from the rocking chairs on the front porch. We were fortunate that on our first night the second cabin was not rented out so had the place to ourselves. One recommendation would be to take/buy charcoal for the BBQ as it was not gas as we had thought.Also take BBQ tools as what they provide is limited. The cabin has everything as promised but please note the shower is very small and very narrow. Also note the windows do not lock so would take valuables with you when out hiking. Overall a pleasant experience. A reasonable getaway and better than camping.
