Great Rock at Branson

I was extremely impressed with everything. From the time of booking to checking out. Not long after booking a host reached out to explain how check-in was at there other property and explained that the fireplace was just for looks !!! . She kept me well informed. The property itself is set back just far enough from all the attractions but not to far pretty much perfect. The room was way more than we expected. It was equipped with everything that you need. It was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. Will definitely be going back.

Nice roomy 2 bedroom. Convenient elevators. Elizabeth was friendly, efficient and helpful. Couple issues. Hot water was not real hot. Fireplace did not work and no note saying it didn’t work. Windows were not locked tight so cold air filtered in. Extra chair in living room would have been helpful. No stopper in master bathroom sink. Overall very clear and welcoming.

I was very disappointed with this stay. Advertising a fireplace without clearly stating that it does not work is misleading and deceptive. If a feature is nonfunctional, that needs to be disclosed upfront. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, with springs protruding through them, making it very difficult to rest. This is something that should be addressed immediately. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The unit clearly had not been deep cleaned, nor properly cleaned between guests. There was a sticky substance on the kitchen tile collecting lint, the bathroom floor had visible spots and appeared not to have been mopped, and several surfaces throughout the unit were dirty. Side tables in the living room had sticky tea rings from previous guests, there were handprints on the coffe

We stayed in the condo for 2 nights. Check in was pleasant and simple. The condo was perfect for our needs. With 3 teenage girls we had one on the pull out bed, she said it was comfortable enough for one person. The king bed was hard and caused some soreness when waking up in the morning. My only suggestion is to bring your own coffee grounds if you can’t do dark roast (my stomach is not a fan!) Dunkin is close enough if you forget though! Kitchen was stocked with very basic cooking/eating needs (including a pizza pan!) for when we ate in.

Overall, the place was really wonderful. It was a lot more spacious than we had thought it would be which was really great! We had a couple complaints though. One is that if there's a fireplace there and it's advertised, I feel like it should function.. sadly the fireplace did not work which was kind of a bummer. Secondly, the air conditioner is capped to not be able to go lower than 70°. Thirdly, it's just not advertised very well. That check-in is at a different property, about 5 minutes away. And overall though we had a great time, it was really nice to overlook a wooded area from the balcony. Would stay here again. Just hopefully next time the fireplace works 🙂
