Gray Haven Motel

This place is nasty||The sheets are dirty, no idea what all different types of body fluids are on it but I suspect all of them.||The bathroom is cramped and disgusting. Hope you enjoy really hot showers because the cold water just trickles out. Once you get the temp where you want it the drain backs up and now your standing in dirty water.||The toilet seat is broken.||The walls look like they have never washed. ||The carpet has enough dirty in it to grow corn||Only saving grace is the manager is extremely nice

Its being remolded, staff is great...very friendly, rooms are clean, and good descent prices. Its under new management and its really getting cleaned up, not only cosmetic clean up, but there are no signs of drugs there. The manager is very friendly, but very tough and cracking down on drugs and the people that bring the drugs in there. I can honestly say its a safer place now for family's with children traveling or needing a place to stay for a week or so. The motel has a big back yard for children to play.

I stayed in room 19. Pros: Cozy, clean, bed's comfy, you get what you pay for, the fridge works, the staff is nice and understanding. Cons: I saw one bug but I quickly dealt with it so no harm there and the tub is clogged with something so it filled up with water when I took a shower but it drained quickly after I got it. NOTICE: I told one of the faculty members about the bug and she said that she hires an exterminator every two weeks to spray the rooms and they make sure to not have any bugs in any of the rooms. As for the tub, it's just old. As long as the water drained, I was happy. Conclusion: I liked the place. I'll stay again when I'm back in town.

It's really nice, in a great place, reasonable prices, great rooms, but if you plan to stay for more than a few days....DON'T! The managers are nice until you pay them for either a week or a month,(once they have your money) after about half of your stay they WILL kick your door open and either make up a reason why you HAVE to leave OR they will make up a reason for them to call the cops.... And DO NOT tell them anything you wouldn't want anyone to know. They seemed like a cool couple, until they get your money. And I have personally witnessed this happen to at least 6 different people just THIS MONTH!!

Love the staff! They were very accommodating and did their best to make my stay comfortable. This was a good inexpensive no-frills place to crash for a few weeks while I was working in the area. A refrigerator and microwave were in my room and it was clean. They are in the process of updating some rooms.
