A beautiful spot. Not a place to go if you're looking for quiet time. A lot of traffic happens, via road and water. Maybe more suitable for younger crowds. Not so much for families.
Been going on a canoe trip from McAdam to Loon Bay for 25 years. We usually stray at Gravel Island Saturday nights. Great little camping spot. Once in a while, some young locals show up on ATV’s or cars for a drink or puff, but never had any issues with them.
This is a great river front remote campsite with at times lots of piece and quite. Be sure to contact Tammy Tubes for tube rentals. She’s great!
Great place for kids,u can keep an eye on all of them.the hippy guy that stays down there is a little weird but cool,I'm lot asking him to babysit for me but I'll have a beer w him.overall I give it a 9 outta 10 beer cans.
Best hidden park. Don’t take the service road to get here though!
