GrandStay Hotel & Suites Waunakee - Madison

Great location, quiet and close to downtown. Very easy to get to the dells and Madison. A lot of good restaurants close by. Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast options were limited but all fresh and delicious. Quality over quantity was appreciated. The pool looked very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on our way to The House on the rock. The room was spacious, up to date and clean. Beds are very comfortable and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and keep their pool open until 10:30pm despite their closing time for pool is 10:00 pm so that makes me feel important. Definitely felt like a great value for a very reasonable price. We had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed the hot tub as well. Breakfast was warm and excellent with plenty of options and places to sit. It was great to see staff making special arrangements for my wedding!! Highly recommended!

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as having a hot tub with the pool. No hot tub exists (although it looks like they filled in a hot tub sized shape with concrete in the pool area). Im guessing they already got caught for this because now their website does not say they have a hot tub. The hallways are cold, the heated pool is cold, and the continental breakfast, while it does include fresh waffles, is lackluster. Our room has a fridge but no microwave. Looks like when this place was bought, they downsized some of the nicer features. Also if this place actually has a business center, it must be hiding on the second floor.

Bright spotlight singing in room all night and barely adequate window shades didn’t block it. Paper thin windows so you heard every noise outside, birds, cars, people coming and going. Coffee maker in room but no cups, coffee, ice bucket, even the soap was one tiny bar. Had a lady open our door and walk in our room! She looked around, we asked her ‘maybe you are in the wrong room’, she mumbled something incoherent and left. I went and got new room keys, this was really strange, never happened to me before. People at front desk we re courteous, didn’t speak English to each other so you don’t know what they are saying but one of them would eventually talk to me when I asked for something, like the new room keys. They have a pool we didn’t use, big whirlpool tub in middle of room we did t us

I was a longterm stay during the ownership transition last month, when Jay and Nicky took over. The level of service went up and renovations began shortly there after. They're kind and considerate hosts and go out of their way to make you comfortable during your stay. Heated pool was very nice and helped my son's learn to swim. Nice continental breakfast and hot coffee each more made early by Iggy. Soft and comfortable beds and clean rooms with spacious showers. Definitely recommend to any and all. Look forward to seeing all the upgrades and improvements next time I stay.
