GrandStay Hotel & Suites Rock Valley

A great place to stay with friendly staff - Always friendly and accommodating! A great service story - we stay there for work often, and during an epic northeast Iowa December snowstorm, my coworker and I were stranded a quarter mile away from the hotel (and had to stay with our vehicle). Employee Shaelynn G. recognized the vehicle, knew it was my group stranded for a few hours, and hand delivered us the hotel breakfast in the middle of the storm. Always a great group! Rick

This is a consistently clean and well kept hotel. We regularly come here and every time they exceed our expectations.||Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Rooms are always spotless. Plenty of clean towels and beds made every day.||Pool area and bar/breakfast area are also both clean and well kept.

My company booked a King Suite with kitchen for me for the week. Got here and since it was booked through a 3rd party they would not honor the reservation and give me the room I was supposed to have with a kitchen. It was one of the only things I needed while being away from home for a week. Unhelpful front desk personal who told me I had a suite but the price they got from it wasn’t enough so they gave me a lower quality room. Would give zero stars if possible. We work in this area often and I will have my company put this hotel on the no go blacklist so we don’t have to deal with them again.

This hotel is wonderful. Clean, great staff, quiet, beds are the best. Breakfast could use a little upgrade. Over all great place to stay and reasonable.
