Grandpa's Castles

Though I’m a little late in making this review, I was just looking back at photos that brought back memories of our stay at Grandpa’s Castle this spring. My husband Rich and I had another delightful visit- this was our second time staying here! This bed and breakfast is truly special. The rooms have such charming, quaint character that makes you feel right at home. But the real highlight is the breakfast-it’s absolutely amazing! Dale puts a lot of care into creating a memorable morning meal and experience. Can’t say enough about the warm hospitality and delicious food. It definitely keeps us coming back. Highly recommend Grandpa’s Castle to anyone looking for a delightful B&B experience!

Dale & Sheila were wonderful hosts! We were on a genealogy trip and they shared resources that helped us. Our room was comfortable and we'll appointed. Breakfast was delicious and served in the grand dining room. Dale offered a tour of their home, filled with history, architectural details and restoration information. It was fascinating, a house museum, really. If we are back in Conneaut, we will stay with Dale & Sheila again! Thank you both!

This is a grand & beautiful old B&B. Rooms are comfortable (and air-conditioned), clean, and nicely furnished. Dale & Sheila are wonderful hosts who put on an absolutely fabulous cooked-to-order breakfast. They are friendly, helpful and so guest-focused. On my next trip to Conneaut, this is where I will stay!
