Grande Vista Motel

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Rented rooms with roaches on beds. No rubber mat in shower, injured my elderly uncle very bad. And they shrugged it off. Pool was out of service.

Owner operator was friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. Appears to be family owned and operated and very well run. The room was clean and all of the amenities were in good repair. The TV was nice and had plenty of channels. Good experience, probably the best roadside motel I've stayed in.

I stayed at the Grande Vista Motel one night on a business trip to Florence, Arizona. I needed a clean, quiet, safe, affordable, no-frills, single room close to a decent restaurant for one night. The Grande Vista Motel is of a one-storey, cinder-block design, common to 1960's. It has been surprisingly well-kept for its age and location, with a clean, enclosed pool and well-lit grounds. The management doesn't rent to pet owners, and offers smoking and non-smoking rooms when available. My room included a clean, comfortable queen bed; color t.v.; and a small kitchen,equipped with a four-burner electric stove, microwave, and refrigerator-freezer at no additional charge. Friendly staff, mostly clean rooms yet well worn. Carpet stained numerous places, kitchenette porcelain chipped multiple places, bathroom mirror chipped. We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms and each was about the same condition. Newer flat screen TV's worked gr8, nice to have a kitchenette, but disappointed no coffee maker in either room. SUMMARY fairly clean but well worn, but probably about what you can expect for under $70. Pool had water and looked inviting, but closed for the winter

Overall it's a decent place to stay whether you're passing through on a road trip or a local who's having air conditioning issues or other problems that make your home unlivable it's a clean semi comfortable place to rest. The rooms are a little dated when it comes to decor but they do have cable tv, refrigerators, & some rooms have kitchenettes all other amenities are scarce but plenty of places are with in walking distance & the family that owns are a most jolly crew my one & only major complaint is the rates are pretty high compared to motels in a major city but when the same family owns both motels in town & the next closest place is at least 20 minutes away you pretty much gotta play by their rules after all it is a business & the place isn't owned by UNCEF
