Granada Inn

Was looking for a reasonably priced hotel near a friend. Pictures do not lie. This is a smaller hotel but well worth it. You can hear freeway noise on occasion but it is not disturbing. The staff were great and are very nice and accommodating. Housekeeping staff are friendly. Parking on-site is included. It is for the average small to normal size vehicle. A large pickup did block access to another space. There is easy access on and off nearby freeways. Two restaurants are in walking distance. This will be my go to when I return.

The Granada Inn advertises itself as a "boutique hotel." But it is actually more like a budget motel. Unless you have to stay in Granada Hills I wouldn't bother. The rooms are spacious and have been recently updated. But it falls short of "boutique" in many other ways. ||It starts when you arrive. The parking lot is small and difficult to drive and park in. Then there is check in. The clerk sits behind the kind of bullet-proof glass you find in an all-night liquor store. You interact with him through one of those small indents in the counter that you slide things through. There are signs warning you of sex trafficking and additional quests. ||I asked about the continental breakfast that is advertised on the website and the clerk said they don't provide it, and haven't for several years. I

Positive: Nothing. Nobody told me that I needed a credit card with a chip on it. So the girl at the counter tossed it back to me and said they couldn't take my credit card because there was no chip. At first I didn't understand. Had to sleep in rental car. Negative: Attitude from desk clerk and the fact they didn't tell when booking that your credit card had to have a chip.

Really great inn! The quality of this inn is really good and I would say high quality just like in the photos. The price of this place is affordable compared to other places in the Los Angeles area.The staff was really nice and pleasant to be with. It's also very close and near by where my grandparents live in Los Angeles, CA. My only thing is that the walls are not sound proof enough so you are able to hear unwanted sounds from other guests in near by rooms if they are too loud. Other than that, can't complain. I give this 4/5 rating ; my mom and I plan on staying here again whenever visiting family in Ca.

Totally overpriced for a motel. The thinnest towels. Shampoo and soap are rationed. Parking is limited to one car per room. Front desk doesn't feel like accommodating your needs.
