Beautiful trails and waterfalls
Love the spacious campsites. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks of Lake Superior at times from your campsite.
Breathtaking during the fall. If coming at the later months please bring more protective clothing if possible as it gets quite cold at night. The falls are a very short walk from the campsite, and depending how far away you are from the falls, you can even hear the roar from afar- relaxing if you ask me. I’d say peak time to visit / camp would be around may-june.
One of my favorite State Parks
Was at the group camp. Overall great experience however it was a cart in campsite. There was a group that kept all the carts and never returned them. We asked the park to look into it but they never did.
