Gondolier Oceanfront Motel

Motorcycle club trip. The motel was clean. Owners and employees were very accommodating, extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for others. Our group was booked to stay during a nor'easter that happened during our scheduled stay. Because of the storm our ferry was canceled and we had to reschedule for the next day. The motel owner and his wife allowed us to stay one more night. Motel is within walking distance to the boardwalk.

Amazing location. Loved the old motel style with an amazing view. Very clean. Quiet at night. Parking was very accessible. Family friendly. The pool was great and grills available to use was great. Just a walk across the road to the quiet side of the beach. Loved every second of our stay. Next time we go down again, we will be here again!

I stayed at the Gondolier as part of a senior bus trip. Before we got off the bus we were given our room assignments w/o any choice. Because I was a single traveler even though I paid extra because of it, I was given a room in the back corner of the on the 3rd floor of the hotel. I was told by the front desk that they do that to all single travelers. Only after I complained, did they offer to change my room. The hotel is in serious need of a remodel as attested to the photos I have attached. These were taken of the 2nd room they offered me. I did not take any photos of the 1st room as I wanted to leave that one a.s.a.p. While the staff is very nice and the rooms were cleaned daily I would not recommend this hotel as other friends that I traveled with had problems with their refrigerators

The place is clean, felt safe, and staff is nice. Location is good. My big complaint is that the AC unit was located in the bedroom and it was so loud. My 2 children had to sleep on the sofa bed because of how loud it was. We tried turning it off, but it got too hot. Also, the rooms could have been updated and decorated a little nicer for the price of the room.

A Perfect Getaway at The Gondolier! My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at The Gondolier in Wildwood Crest! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—they were friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfy, and though the coffee machine didn’t have coffee, the lounge had plenty to enjoy in the mornings. If you get a room on the ocean side, the sunrise is absolutely breathtaking—it was such a magical way to start the day! The location couldn’t be better, a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, and pier. We even discovered a cute breakfast spot just around the corner that also serves lunch. The pool was clean, parking was easy, and the Wi-Fi worked so so! We left feeling relaxed and impressed, and we can’t wait to come back. Highl
