Golden Pond RV Park- Coast to Coast

We were making our way back east after spending a couple of years out west and stumbled upon this gem of a campground! The owners and hosts couldn’t be nicer — they truly make you feel at home. There’s a beautiful pond full of fish, and our boys were in absolute fish heaven! While you’re there, don’t miss Fairfield Bay Marina — the lake is stunning! If you have the time, rent a boat and explore it yourself. You won’t regret it. Also, check out the Indian Rock Cave and Trail — it’s a short, easy hike that leads to a large cave with ancient petroglyphs. Such a cool piece of history and absolutely beautiful!

Golden Pond RV Park is a hidden gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved spending time at the fishing pond—caught a few nice ones! Plus, it’s just minutes from Fairfield Marina, which has boat rentals. Highly recommend this place!

Rating this campground based on it being a regular campground, not a resort, that is close to a beautiful, rather large clear lake, Greers Ferry, perfect for kayaking, boating, skiing and fishing. Water was like glass on a hot August day. The owners are terrific and want your stay to be pleasant. Price is awesome if you’re RPI members. Wifi extremely good and Verizon phones worked great. We had a 42 ft pull thru for our motorhome. The BBQ place is closed down but the family restaurant was good. Yes, we would come again as a safe, clean place for a couple of nights passing through to Fayetteville to the north or south towards Houston.

Amazing park! The owner is friendly and wonderful to talk with. The park is clean and well maintained. It is definitely worth making this a stop with your RV!!!

Amazing experience! Loved the campground. It was quiet and peaceful and everyone there was so friendly. We felt it was safe and that Phillip and Courtney really enjoyed what they do. We will definitely come back! Rob and Austin also took great care of us! Great vibes all around. Also the food was awesome. No complaints at all!
