Golden Plough Inn at Peddler's Village

I was disappointed with the room. For $650 for 2 nights (and nothing included), I feel these things should be addressed if you plan on staying here...I was in the village view "extended stay" room. This room has a small kitchen in it. I was traveling with my husband and child. Anything I mention with the kitchen was observed in both cleanliness and appearance:||1) To start, there were un-wiped cup rings on the bed stands and table, which my husband and I wiped.||2) There were MANY finger print marks that have accumulated on the stove vent and were not cleaned. I also feel like dish soap shouldn't be left half way filled and squeezed (maybe use single style travel dish soap or a refillable bottle per stay). My wife and I stayed here at least 7 times. WE love it! Rooms are very clean. Staff are very professional. Taylor helped us check in and when we forgot something the front desk had it on hand. Highly recommended. Also, staying in the village is like a storybook!

I felt like I was in a book! The room overlooking the village was quaint, but also modern. The soaking tub was incredible, the robes were delightful. Everything about the room and the stay, from the ambiance, to the staff, to the room, to the shops...was spot on and wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

Room was very spacious. However I had to climb more than 20 stairs to get to my room… with my suitcase! No elevator. Bathroom tub/shower had no safety rail & the water was orange & yellow. Room was not in main building… more stairs to check in….but down the street. The front entrance was leaking snow on my head & my feet has to step through a pile of slush. I wouldn’t go again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large and beautifully appointed. We absolutely loved being able to walk out the door and be directly in the village. We can’t wait to come back again!
