Golden Palms Resort

We will be returning! My husband and I stayed for Memorial Weekend. We spent the weekend fishing. Customer Service = Julie was great! Informative, helpful, and kind. Felt as if I made a new friend. Room = Clean! Bed was comfortable. Room had everything we needed. It was updated as well. Location = Really good. We were able to dock our boat right outside our room, easy and quick access to the open water. Marina almost directly across the street. We had parking for our trailer. At the end of the day we could walk to restaurants.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Golden Palms. The location is wonderful It is an easy walk to good restaurants. The bike trail was paved the whole length of the island. We rented the kayaks. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, new furniture. While the accommodations are not luxurious, they are very comfortable. Rick and Heather, the owners love the place, It shows in the improvements they are making and the customer service they provide.

The place is a beautiful, quiet place that sits right on Stringfellow with the canal in your backyard. Owners are present and attentive to everything and anything. Very personable with the people that stay in their places. Location is wonderful as you can enjoy a few restaurant is walking distance. The best part of this place is the dock and backyard. It’s all fenced in with a beautiful dock, fireplace, tables, hammocks, and chairs. Sit outside with the birds and watch the boats go by! Been in Florida 13 years and this is my favorite spot by far. The drive home to st James city at night is something I can’t explain. It does something for the soul.

The Golden Palm is one place I will defintly be visiting again. It was a Wonderful Experience. By far the most chill, relaxed little spot I have found in a long time. There isn't many rooms, so if you get a chance definitely check this place out. They put a lot of work into making this place so Comfortable and Clean inside and out for others to enjoy. Really looking forward to staying there again. Excellent All Around.
