Golden Luck Motel

Ownership of the Golden Luck Motel changed and it was renovated about 5 years ago, the new owners made a real effort to improve the appearance of the property as well as change the reputation and community perception of the motel. For decades this motel was a transient only motel that exclusively catered to the unhoused, homeless, and people in transitional housing. The new owners don't appear to be as welcoming to this population. If I was traveling and needed someplace to stay for the night before moving on I might consider staying here now. Other than that I wouldn't consider it,although the motel has been renovated it sits on a blighted corner in front of an abandoned petrol station and there remain sketchy people who hang around there.

The manger (Ronnie) was personable and professional. The staff given me a friendly and family feel. The room was clean with fresh linen on a comfortable bed. When asked for extra towels where given in a timely manner. They where very accommodating to any need that came up. The price was reasonable for all they offer.

By far, the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. They give you a bed and toilet, that's it. Sink was stopped up. King size bed was 2 twin beds pushed together. Pillows didnt have pillow cases. Smoke detector was missing. No closet or anywhere to hang a jacket. Filthy room. I could go on, but rather not. This is somewhere I would advise ANYONE to stay far away from. Basically it looked like a crack spot. They should be ashamed of even offering something like this to anyone. STAY AWAY!

First off let me tell you that they are under new management and while during our stay they are very friendly and clean yes it small but it's roomie... I told them I needed a big refrigerator and they came threw ok.. my microwave is huge for no reason.. bed comfy they make sure u have fresh linen...

This place is very good for the price room is clean water is super hot , the manager Ronnie is really nice and very helpful and is an overall good place when your on a budget
