Gold Beach Inn

We had a great stay, didn't even need the caveat of good for the price, it was just a great price AND a beautiful stay! Or room was clearly recently updated, and spotlessly clean. We knew going in the hot tub wasn't running, and figured that was part of the reason it was such a good deal. The deck with the hot tub looking over the ocean looks amazing, though, so I definitely want to come back when it is working! All the staff we interacted with was helpful and friendly. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but it had hot food every morning, and we grabbed a couple things to supplement so we could watch the sunrise ocean view from our room every morning. LOTS of dogs, but I saw zero poop left behind. Only issue I had with other guests was people smoking on their balcony one

They have a Groupon that made the hotel very affordable. I had a question about if you could use a debit card at the hotel instead of a credit card so I called the hotel. I asked the lady my question and she goes off trying to upsell me. I finally said “Look. We’re buying it the other way because we can do it through Afterpay. My client’s mom is trying to do something nice for them. Their favorite thing is to sit on a balcony, watch the ocean, and eat McDonalds.” Then she continues to try and upsell me, never answering my simple question. Then she tells me that we might not even get the room for the night we want if I get the Groupon offer. If that’s the case, why was Groupon setting up the reservation? Then she tells me “Well, you could save up the money before you get here.” She had zero

We found this place 3 years ago, we live a few hours away. But ever since we found this cute inn and fell in love with Gold Beach we come back around 3 times a year for birthdays and special trips. We've stayed in the hotel side and the rustic lodge side. The rooms are all perfectly fine. Clean, white, basic. Amazing stunning views. It's quiet. It's affordable. It's reliable so we keep coming back! Bummer about the hot tubs. But really it would be freezing out there any way! Ha! Check out Groundlings Pizza and Gold Beach BBQ if you stay here. They are excellent.

The rooms are in what looks like 4 or 5 small properties now united into the Gold Beach Inn. There's a cute little path from out room to the office where breakfast is available. The units are older but in decent shape. We had a really nice pet-friendly room. The small kitchenette is a real plus. The ocean is really close, with access a few places on the property. We'd definitely stay here again.

Disappointed in the false advertising by the website.. the room we booked (2 queen bed with kitchen) looked nothing like the photos online. I'm curious as to where those photos are coming from? Is it AI? Anyway - don't expect an updated room like the photos show. The room was clean enough for a one night stay. There was a large gap between the bottom of our door and the floor, so if someone wanted to, they could see inside our room from the outside. Didn't love that. The front desk person almost wouldn't take my credit card because my last name didn't match my reservation (recently married), luckily I had my old ID with me. I can understand the policy, but I wonder what they would've done if I didn't have an old ID on hand..? They also said their hot tubs are permanently shut down, even
