Glowing Palms RV Park, llc

Needed a place for 1 night. Owner Zim was very accommodating, met us at entrance. Easy in and out with bigger rig,level site. Beautiful bathrooms & laundry. New park still under construction but can see it will be a great spot with reasonable rates. Not far from Cedar Key. Would definitely stay again.

Well, let me say we had a problem at Cedar Key RV Resort where we had booked. I will let you read that blistering review after this one. Needless to say, we left and called this place. the owner asks what happen and we told him we had 3 small nonaggressive dogs. One 6 lbs., one 7 lbs. and one 15 lbs. and the other place gave us a hard time. He said that they had a 2-pet rule, but it was his discretion that our small pups didn't really amount to one normal size dog. He said come on over. He met us at gate, took us to our spot and we enjoyed our stay. Everything was simple. He treated us like family stopping by telling us about his future plans at the park and ask us for ideas. The place is still growing, but he lives there, and the bathrooms AC/Heated very nice! The laundry room FREE!! We w

The park was easy to find. It is located just a very short distance from FL 19.. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was a bit odd. It was via telephone when you arrive at the park. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are a fine white dust that gets tracked everywhere. The park got it’s name from lights wrapped around the trunks of it’s palm trees. There were a few but not many. Perhaps down the road the rest will be lit. Our site, 25, was a dirt based front to back (2 sites) that was treated as a pull thru for us. Because we used both sites it was easily long enough for us. If both were occupied, a toad or longer coach/trailer would not fit. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side for us. The front site services are on the

Nice quiet place. Simple to find. The owners a nice guy. Only major problem was we paid for a month , had some family medical issues and only were there for a week. No refund or negotiation on a weeks stay but they rather keep the whole 625. Rather bothered by that situation. I would have gladly paid even for an extra week but nothing. Disappointed but lesson learned

Love it here! Friendly people, owner goes out of his way to accomodate you, and its reasonably priced, cant beat it! Its a leave your doors unlocked and your worries behind kind of place :) motorcycle friendly too! Also, free trash, free laundry and ele is included in lot rent A++++
