Glendo Lakeside RV Park

Very rude people! I have called to ask to fill propane and they act like it's a huge inconvenience. Tried calling, got hung up on and when I tried calling back she forwarded my calls. I highly recommend the other RV Park near by. They have ALWAYS been helpful and friendly, unlike this place.

Stayed at this campground for a weekend escape, and it was exactly what I needed. The site was clean, spacious, and well-maintained with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Restrooms and showers were surprisingly clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It felt peaceful and safe, whether I was hiking nearby trails, sitting by the fire, or just enjoying the quiet. There were great spots for both tents and RVs, plus easy access to water and trash disposal. A perfect mix of nature and convenience—I'll definitely be coming back!

Booked a reservation for Glendo Lakeside RV based on reviews from an internet competitor. What a surprise! I try to keep a super clean tag axle and when driving into GL saw a long gravel drive and solid gravel sites. To my joy I saw no dust from driving on either. And it isn’t really gravel but small stones...clean stones. The sites are quite wide as well as long. I did not have to disconnect my toad from a 43’ coach. As for the lack of grass, the center of this park is a very large groomed grass area with a number of randomly placed picnic tables, fire rings, and groomed horseshoe pit. But the best part is the bathroom/showers. They are individual combo units with external entry to each. In all my years of RV travels I’ve not come across any more attractive or cleaner. Let me start with saying my wife and I were passing through and decided to stop for the night. We called ahead and got the last space they had. We arrived fairly late about 7 and were welcomed in like old friends. The cost, 41 dollars and some change after taxes, was very reasonable. The sites are gravel but very large, big enough for the truck, camper, and a boat if you had one. As I was setting up, I noticed I had a tire coming apart on the camper. The next morning I changed the tire to discover the lug nuts would not work with my spare rim. The owner not only brought up a nice Jack for me to use but told me where I could probably get different lug nuts on a Sunday morning. Because of them we were able to make it out and home. Great place to take the family for a camping getaway. RV, camper and tent sites available. Water sports rentals, convenient store/ restaurant/ bar. Locals drive down in their golf carts to enjoy the evening. Massive reservoir with a plethora of fish to catch. Bring your swim wear as this is a warm water reservoir and it's hot in the middle of summer here so the water is your oasis. 536 camping spots, multiple boat ramps, sand beaches and tons of fun.
