The staff and stay was great. The staff was very nice and so were the people camping there everyone was very friendly. We had a birthday party for one of our friends and people would drive by and say happy birthday and wave. The bathrooms were very clean and upgraded. The best campground for a getaway. Well all enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks for the great memories

We were a seasonal camper there for a few years. The current owners bought it and are dead set on making sure seasonal people aren’t welcome. $2500 for 6 months is ridiculous plus money for electric and water. We were footing the bill for the campers who just happened by. Glendale Lake has less than a 15 hp limit on boats on the lake…. so not an overly great destination. Not much to do in the area. The rules for seasonal people is also ridiculous. You can’t have visitors stay at your camper even though it’s you that pays the rent, etc. Some of the places they call lots is horrible. Trees and not much space between lots. Some people have been outrightly told their lease will not be renewed. They also say that they’re close to the Altoona Curve. That is hilarious. 32 minutes and 2

Our stay at this campground has been the highlight of my husband and my trip to this part of the state. We had reservations to stay at the campground on the State Park, but missed the small print stating that no dogs were allowed on the site we had chosen. We were turned away, in spite of having our own RV, and had no place to go after driving several hours to get here on a Sunday afternoon. I called Glendale Valley Campground and left a message. Given the day and time, we had little hope of getting a call back, let alone having a site available. Trina called back quickly. She was so friendly and accommodating. She found us an available site for the week, and it was the best site on the campground! Rick then gave us awesome directions to the campground. Both Trina and Rick offer customer s

The campground has potential and could be beautiful, but it's cluttered with run-down permanent campers. If you're seeking a quiet family weekend, this isn't the place. Our visit was disappointing—there was man who urinated in the woods (though staff responded quickly to remove him from the property), loud music from neighbors, and constant barking dogs. If you are middle-aged and want to act like a drunk teenager for the weekend on your golf cart, this place would be right up your alley. It felt more like a trailer park than a peaceful getaway. If you are taking a camper, the spots are pretty tight and you better be good at backing your rig into your spot. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They did make us feel welcomed.

An awesome mountain campground. This campground is snuggled in the laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. An old coal town is minutes away. A beautiful state park in it's back door. It's just getting up and running so the selection of items in the camp store are limited. And the fire pit was full of ashes from previous use, (Why the 3 stars) also had some issues with some campers not respecting boundaries and entered our campsite without permission but thats not the campgrounds falt. I am anxious to see how far the campground will come next year.
