Glacier Basecamp Lodge

We recently spent the weekend in the Moose Drool apartment with another couple. This unit is in a separate building from the main one. Sarah texted a couple of days before we arrived with address details etc, and the door code to our unit — it was nice not having to go through a check—in process. There are 2 steps going from the large living room (with 2 queen beds, a couch, coffee table, gas fireplace & A/C unit) up to the kitchen, bedroom with a queen bed and the bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals, and even an airfryer. If I had written this review on arrival, it would not be 5 stars. However, the staff was very receptive to my concerns and problems were solved, which we really appreciated, so I have no hesitation recommending Glacier Basecamp

We stayed at the hotel the 3rd week of June 2020 and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The pictures on their website are an accurate reflection of the room interiors. In fact, I was so pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and decor of the room, I think it's even better in person. The laundry facilities were clean and spacious and the lobby even offers a water bottle filler which is a nice perk for GNP hikers. Proximity to the park was great. There were restraints due to COVID-19 which really couldn't be avoided by the facility. Very happy with their customer service and our stay.

We originally had reservations at a VRBO, but when we arrived, it was not as described and didn't feel safe, so we canceled and lucked into the last room available at Glacier Basecamo Lodge. We feel very fortunate to have the room we did. First of all, check-in couldn't have been easier than it was. Then, we went to our room and it was very clean and ready for us to use. It was comfortable and the view was amazing! It was close in distance to Glacier NP, but also to Flathead Lake. A bonus is that they had washers and dryers available for their guests to use at no cost. We so appreciated that! We would highly recommend staying here, and if we ever return, we wouldn't hesitate to be guests again. **I forgot to mention that the "Office" for the lodge is located in a building that also had a

Wrong room type. Requested 1st floor, put on second floor. Ask room to be changed. Put into a first floor room that felt more like a repainted Motel 6. There were 3 adults and one child. This was supposed to be a great treat for my daughter and grandson to celebrate their recovery from Covid. Requested our room be cleaned especially the floor which was Lino that hadn’t been mopped in months! Gross! Came back from a day out and nothing had been done! The front desk clerk said that it had been cleaned. I brought a towel that I stepped on which clearly showed a really dirty floor. She basically said I just had to live with it. Don’t be fooled by any other reviews! I read them before I booked and trusted hotels.com to provide at least a sanitary room if lacking amenities. Keep sear

Great staff and new management. This place has a lot of options. We stayed a week. It is not new and some things could use updating but the new management may have that in the plans. I would hope that they remain affordable. Our room had a furnished kitchenette. Other options look good - little tents. Laundry worked well.
