Glacial Lakes has a very nice day use area. The grounds are spacious with plenty of shade and picnic tables. There are decent overlook of the lake as well as a flushable bathroom. There is a giant parking area that also serves the camper cabins. The swim beach, fishing pier, and boat launch are all at the base of the day use area.
