Customer Reviews
Was my first time visiting this place. The price was decent. The pool was nice, but a little too hot for my liking. I enjoyed the soak I just wish I could have sat longer in the water before I had to get out to cool off. The changing room was good, just wish the showers would have worked a little bit better. But they got the job done.
My family and I went there today 3/7/26 6 adults and 4 kids for my special needs cousin’s birthday. when we arrived there was a few people we waited not very long we were trying to find out who we had to pay for and who had to wear swimmers and what not, the gentleman behind the counter (Guy we found out later is his name) was super rude as we were trying to figure out what was what (no one was behind us) so bad that 2 of adults would not swim because they would not be giving their money to someone that treats and talks to customers that way. But they stayed for my cousin. The pool was big which was nice but the amount of chlorine in there pretty much over powered the minerals that heal (so really it was just a big hot pool not a the healing water we had hoped for. But we stayed (mostly be
Definitely worth the $12 to soak. It was clean, and I like that there is no roof anymore. I wish there was seating lining the interior of the pool — something to sit and relax on, especially in the deep end. Everyone was crowding the shallow end and wading pool, where there are tons of little kids playing around. I’d also be super interested in a dedicated time for adults only soaking so that it can be a much more quiet and serene soaking experience. I’d like to try an evening or mid-week soak to see if it is a calmer experience. Still, I’ll go back for the benefits of a hot spring mineral soak from time to time. Maybe I’ll bring a noodle to sit on next time, too.
Feel like I should answer a few things as someone that has been going since I was a kid! It’s a wonderful family that owns it and it has stayed in the family since it’s inception. Water temp can vary because it is naturally fed by the spring but is usually around 100 degrees. They can’t control the ambient temperature outside so that can vary. Floors are crazy slippery! I got yelled at all the time when I was a kid and didn’t take it seriously until I fell. Not much can be done with wet floors. Food options consist of drinks, candy, and snacks but outside food is welcomed (just not in the water itself). People with disabilities swim for free, they do allow dogs now (on a leash or in an enclosure), and admission price covers the entire day. Accessibly: there is an entrance around back fo
I love going to Givens, my friends and I have always had a wonderful experience. I love that the pool is deep enough to really swim, while also providing a shallow spot for younger swimmers to be safe. The staff has always been kind and helpful to us.
