Gilcrest Cottages and Motel

We stayed here for the week of our 19th anniversary. What a beautiful, quiet spot. Our cottage was absolutely adorable. We brought our own grill not knowing they actually have grills there for use and the cottage was spotless with the request for extra towels all set for our arrival. Our second day there we booked for a long weekend in October with so so many things to do in just a short 15 minute drive to anywhere in the mountains you want to go. Not far from Vermont, where we also spent a day without feeling like we drove all day, just an hour. The people were very nice and we can’t wait to go back!!!||Excellent and lovely

Gilcrest Cottages is located in a quiet area close to a playground, outdoor pool, and pond. The highway is across the street and takes about 10 minutes to reach Lincoln where there are many hiking trails, covered bridges and waterfalls to be found. We visited in January so the temperatures were low however, this didn't stop us from adventuring out to these beautiful locations. The owners, Jen and Andy gave us pointers on where to find great things to do as well as amazing places to eat! They are extremely helpful (Andy even cleared off our car after the 10 inches of snow we received) and welcoming when we checked in and throughout our stay. LOVE this place! Cozy, clean, awesome location. On the Pemi. Here for transmission line work. Out in the heat all day. So nice to come "home" to this beautiful and tranquil setting in the evenings! Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are three of my top priorities when choosing lodging while working. This place checked off those boxes, and more! Highly recommend!

This spot was perfect for our weekend. Clean, comfortable and cozy in a gorgeous setting. When we arrived Friday night we were in the midst of a snow storm - the owner made sure we got settled safely and was working late into the night to make sure the property was plowed, shoveled and sanded for the guests.He also offered up some excellent restaurant recommendations which we enthusiastically partook in.The room was spotless and stocked with plenty of nice towels and blankets. The temperatures were below freezing all weekend but our room was nice and toasty. The view out our rear window was breathtaking even covered in snow and ice. We'd love to see it again in the spring, summer and fall!

We loved our stay at Gilcrest. The cottage was perfect and very reasonably priced. It is located so close to 93 it's easy to travel to wherever you want to go. There is a pool, and a nice little playground that our 4 year old son was thrilled with. The owners are more than happy to make sure your stay is perfect. We plan on making the trip up a tradition and come up at least once a year.
