Getaway Mountain Campground

I strongly urge anyone considering Getaway Mountain Campground to stay far away. Our experience here was nothing short of appalling. From the moment we checked in, the owners were extremely rude and unwelcoming. After staying for the weekend, we extended our stay due to the campground’s cleanliness, thinking it would be perfect for our family, including our three children with special needs and our service animals. Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior quickly escalated. One day, the man running the office drove by on his golf cart and began yelling and swearing at me, accusing us of not picking up after our dogs. Been seasonals for 17 years, Love it here, Clean heated outdoor pool, laundry area, Karaoke every other weekend, Holiday celebrations with live music, large bonfire and golf cart parades

I am a seasonal camper here. I'm a traveling medical assistant and found this campground last year. I have returned this summer. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I like this campground, and I would highly recommend it. Very clean restrooms, beautiful pool, laundry facilities and lots of activities on the weekends. It is a very nice family campground!

They don't follow the rules that the state of Vermont. There is no 96 hour law. Also the owner likes to grab people by the throat before he knows the whole thought

We are RVrs that have traveled extensively the last 3 years and I have to say this is one of the prettiest campsites. There is lots going on and the facilities are kept clean. Nice shaded lots, nice pool area and grassy areas. Very nice play area for the kiddos. If you happen to come during the holidays, they have events and karaoke. The owners are very nice and if you get to know the seasonals they are very welcoming. We were fortunate to stay there for 2 months to tour the area, and really enjoyed ourselves.
