Gentry Creek Rental Cabins

Our supper club, five couples, just returned from a fabulous weekend at Gentry Creek Inn. Rik and Marilyn are the perfect hosts; everything was absolutely perfect! Each room is unique yet beautiful--it was very difficult choosing which room we wanted! We loved seeing the horses while enjoying Marilyn and Rik's wonderful breakfast.||||The Inn is about ten minutes from Damascus, VA--a perfect location to experience the wonderful Virginia Creeper Trail. We are already planning a return trip!

This is the most beautiful place you can imagine. 100 acres of lush rolling green pasture with beautiful horses grazing in the distance. A bubbling creek and super nice accommodations. I stayed in the Loft Cabin which was immaculate, very well decorated, spacious and has a wonderful front porch with an amazing view. Sitting on the front porch having my morning coffee I could hear the water splashing in the creek. The owners are the nicest people ever. There are also a B & B and several other cabins available on the property. I can’t wait to come back to the cabin with my husband. There’s a lot of hiking and biking trails right out the driveway and the Virginia Creeper Trail and Appalachian Trail are in the town of Damascus a few miles away. Rik and Marilyn keep the atmosphere relaxed at Gentry Creek Inn. My wife and I enjoyed eating breakfast on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds flit about among the beautiful flowers along the fence. The European-style breakfast was delicious, but they will take requests for other breakfast items. We could lie in bed in the "Sunny Room" and see the stars through the skylight windows. In the morning we looked out at the pastures where horses grazed and watched the mist lift to reveal the surrounding mountains. It was a hot weekend, so sitting beside the cool mountain stream was refreshing. It was truly a relaxing time.
