General Bragg Inn & Suites Chickamauga

Great stay overall! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is convenient and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day. Definitely a good value for the price and I would stay here again.

Definitely the most disgusting motel I’ve ever stayed in. Don’t stay here to save money- it’s not clean, safe or comfortable. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. The first room we were put in smelled of cigarettes and pot. The second room smelled funky, wasn’t clean and had stained towels. Parts of the tub were either installed incorrectly or not at all. The bathroom door was improperly repaired and mounted so that cracks were around the frame and it barely shut. The tv was taped together and the desk chair was broken. The fire safety system was rusted. Econo Lodge has known for years (judging by similar reviews on their site) and doesn’t seem to be doing anything to address it. We chose it through Priceline and have filed a complaint with them as well.| See photos below.

Positive: This hotel was in a great location. Very close to family and near lots of restaurants and local attractions. Negative: Room was not clean. Some lights didn?t work, microwave dirty, beds slept in and some clothes on the floor. Changed room twice. 3rd room was cleaner but holes in walls had roaches coming it of them. Police called on people in next room for fighting.

Not a place I would visit again, nor recommend. Had to ask for towels Empty body wash and shampoo dispensers No ice No coffee though there's a coffee maker. Phone doesn't even have a jack to work. No blanket on one bed, had to ask for it. The other bed had a blanket but you couldn't tell because it was so thin. Pillows were reduced to 12x12 in size and though I had 2 queen beds and 4 guests, they brought me 2 pillows stating its all they had. The bed edges were nasty and walls are nasty and in need of repainting. This place is in dire need of remodeling. The room floors are so nasty I wouldn't even walk without shoes. It would seem that this is mainly and extended stay so they do not care about the short time stay customers. This place is absolutely the grossest place I have ever had the

It started badly and ended the same way. There was no phone, garbage can, or SMOKE ALARM in the room. There were no paper towels in the bathroom even though there was a dispenser and the body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty. The door to the room wouldn't close properly and left a very noticeable gap. I was able to get the dead bolt to engage, thankfully. The staff we met were friendly enough, but the place was horribly understaffed. The most problematic thing for us was the 5 cockroaches that we killed in less than 24 hours. We thoroughly searched our luggage upon returning home from our trip to ensure we hadn't brought any "passengers" home with us. There was nobody at the front desk when we went to check out, so we didn't even have the opportunity to report any of our experiences
