Gemma's Crossing

The rooms were somewhat dirty. There were small but very visible stains on the bathroom wall that were still there from the last time we stayed in that room a few months before. I took the liberty of cleaning them myself, carefully because it was a blood stain and I didn’t want to look at it. The other stain on the wall was a booger. The floor needed a good vacuum, there was visible dirt and trash on the carpet. Otherwise, the staff is wonderful and I love the lobby area. Just need to wipe down the bathroom wall and do a deep vacuum regularly. The rooms are small so it wouldn’t take very long. I would stay again.

stuck in a storm. and it's wonderful! It was like being at grandma and grandpa's house. everything is clean and very comfortable. when I told them that I was hungry, they brought a mountain of food. Grandpa also has his own museum! excellent owners, the best hotel of its class. 10/10. I don’t understand why someone put 4 stars?!

Nice little hotel. Very friendly and helpful and made a thorough effort to make us comfortable. I like a chair to sit in to read and relax after a day of exploring, that would be a terrific addition.

This lodge was a great last minute find. Very clean. New carpet in the rooms. The AC worked well. Right by the train tracks, never heard a train all night. Must be really well insulated. Cute lobby with coffee and snacks.

The owner was so nice and called me 30 minutes out to check on our arrival. The rooms were clean, quite and very pleasant.
