Gazebo Bed & Breakfast

A very warm and welcoming B&B. it was fun to visit with Janet & Clyde. They are a cute couple with a great knowledge of history. Their home is full of beautiful antiques and if you're interested they will tell you the history behind them (I was interested). ||||They took great care of us. Delicious breakfast! I have allergies and prefer de-caf. coffee. Everything was accommodated smoothly and without any fuss. I felt quite pampered.||||Dinner recommendations, at the steak house, were delicious. Lovely location and so very friendly.

I am no fancy writer, but I wish I was able to relay in words the wonderful time we had relaxing at this jem of a BnB in Bowie. To look at all the work Janet and her husband put into their home to make it feel like a 200 year old home was nothing short of fantastic. It was built in 1982, but you would never know it. Huge period pieces fill the home and the small touches on light fixtures and knick knacks tie it all together.||||After relaxing in Susan's room, with her huge bed and comfy, yet elegant linens, we headed off to dinner. We came back to an amber glow and turn down service. We then took a stroll around the property and find a few benches to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine. If you like antiques and history, this is the place. Every room has been lavishly decorated with an interesting story. The bed linens are so soft and comfortable. Wish I knew where they were purchased.. Breakfast is a real treat prepared with fresh tasty items. The host is personable and knowledgeable of the area. We will certainly stay there again when in the area.
